Commitment

Notary.mu aims to conform to WCAG 2.2 level AA. The platform serves people handling stressful legal matters; clarity and accessibility are design requirements, not extras.

What is in place

• Semantic structure, labelled forms and navigation landmarks throughout.
• High-contrast palette on a paper background; no information conveyed by colour alone in checklists and statuses (text labels accompany every state).
• Keyboard-operable controls; no time-limited interactions except payment-gateway steps governed by the gateway.
• Plain-language drafting in both English and French for client-facing journeys.

Known limitations

Interactive maps (parcel plotting) have no full non-visual equivalent yet; the underlying data (coordinates, areas, checks) is available as text. Some professional tools are being audited. Formal audit status: operator to complete.
