Concessions, parcels and their lineages
Trace a parcel back through its subdivisions, partitions and sales to the original concession. Concession outlines follow the Descubes map of 1880 — compiled from surveys of c.1850–1875, mapping grants made from the mid‑1700s. Alignment of tens to hundreds of metres is expected: the overlay is indicative of the historical concession and never a boundary determination.
This instrument assembles the records held here. It is not a title search, not a certificate and not a statement of ownership: title is established by the registered instruments and the Registrar‑General. It is independent of LAVIMS and replaces nothing.
